Five ways to keep your mental health in check during quarantine

Let’s face it, we’re all tired of being cooped up. With the cold winter months ahead, we’re spending even more time inside our homes. Another wave of quarantine is on the horizon, so it’s important to ensure you have enough to keep you occupied. Read on to learn our favorite tips for staying sane and happy when you’re stuck at home. 1. Zooming with friends Video chatting is a vital step to staving off loneliness and maintaining important relationships when you’re not able to see people in person. However, spending hours simply talking can often get boring. To spice things up, try sending some HydroPeptide Facial kits to your friends and yourself. Having a pre-made girls night can be a great way to reconnect without worrying what you will talk about. Try: Wrinkle Warrior Facial Kit or Moisture Miracle Facial Kit 2. Keep a routine Keeping a daily routine is important for reducing stress during a very stressful time. Dedicating time to the things you deem important will keep you moving forward and feeling like you’re accomplishing your goals. Make sure to fit in time for self-care, because enjoying yourself and relaxing is just as important as getting work done!  3. Get outside Even if it’s cold outside, it’s important to leave your home at least once a day. Fresh air combined with moving your body will help refresh your mind and keep you sane. Just make sure you apply SPF before you head out, sun damage can occur from cloudy days too! Try: Solar Defense Tinted or Solar Defense Non-Tinted 4. Find a new hobby There’s never been a better time to pick up a new hobby. Get to know your artistic side by learning to draw or paint. Pick up a book you’ve been meaning to read. Learn to meditate. Using your mind in new and creative ways will help alleviate the boredom of quarantine.  5. Find ways to slow down We find ourselves with a lot more time on our hands, so it’s a good time to slow down and enjoy the little things. If you usually cook quick and easy meals, maybe take this opportunity to try a new recipe that takes a bit more effort. If you’re usually into a 3 step skincare routine, try working in a face mask or exfoliant a couple of times a week. Enjoying the things we do every day a little more can make them feel more special.  Try: 2 Step Polish and Plump Peel or Miracle Mask
