Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The deposit will be refunded at the end of your trial period regardless of whether or not you opt in to the full size.
Your trial period will start 7 days after your sample order has been fulfilled and shipped to align with the approximate delivery date. If your order includes paid non-sample products in addition to the Sample, your trial period will start as soon as all items in your shipment are delivered.
You will receive an email* to notify you that your trial period has started. This is typically 7 days after the order has been fulfilled and shipped but sometimes can be sooner. The email will include a link to your Try Before You Buy Customer Portal order page which will include your order details and a countdown timer for your trial period so you know when it expires.

Orders that contain only a Try Before You Buy sample will receive Free Standard Shipping.
Orders that contain a Try Before You Buy item, plus one or more regular priced items, will be subject to regular shipping charges. Orders under $99 will be charged $8.95 shipping, and orders over $99 will receive Free Standard Shipping.
You can try one sample at a time. Please note that once you have placed a sample order, you will not be eligible to sample that specific item again.
Yes, you can check out with a mixed cart that includes both a sample item and non-sample items. You will only be charged for the non-sample items at initial checkout plus the refundable Try Before You Buy deposit for the sample item.
If you are within your sample trial period, you can initiate a return for any non-sample items through your Try Before You Buy Customer Portal. Note that you will need to submit your decision on opting in or out of the sample upgrade to full-size at the same time as submitting your return request for the non-sample item(s). To access your Customer Portal, use the "View my order" link in the transaction emails*.

If the product you are sampling has different sizes, you will be upgraded to the size that was selected when the sample was added to your cart upon initial checkout. If you want to change this selection, follow the link in your order confirmation email to open your Customer Portal and change your selection.
During your trial period, follow the link in your order confirmation email to open the Customer Portal and opt out of the full-size purchase.
Try Before You Buy is available for customers shipping to the United States only.
You won’t be charged for any Try Before You Buy items during the initial checkout, only the refundable deposit. However, we request your payment details to facilitate the payment processing for any full-size upgrade purchases after the trial period.
Yes, you can use a discount code with Try Before You Buy. You will be able to enter the discount code on the second page of checkout, after providing your shipping address. If you choose to proceed with the full-size purchase after the trial period, the discount will be applied automatically.
